Thanks to all who participated in our beautiful Dia De Los Muertos celebration!!  Nicole's Bows won 'Traditional Best' and Ragels Ziegenhoff and Soapzees won 'people's choice.'  It was a beautiful day.  Come out this Saturday, November 7 and see Rennie Guenther & The Happy Travelers play at the pavilion.  Wear your funny hats, dirndls and lederhosen.  We will be doing the chicken dance!!

Dia De Los Muertos is a Mexican tradition typically celebrated November 1 and 2 - after the American tradition of Halloween.  In Mexico the celebration is not about death -  It is a celebration of fond memories of family or friends who passed on before us.  Altars are built with fun and colorful decorations, seasonal flowers, candles, food, and mementos of someone special.

Since our Saturday market will be on October 31st this year, we will celebrate life with a Dia De Los Muertos theme on that day.  Our vendors will decorate their booths and you can participate in an Instagram contest!  Take a selfie at your favorite altar!  Vote for your favorite vendor altar for a chance to win a market basket full of market goodies!  We will have a fun activity for the children and you can wear your family friendly costumes.  Dress up your pets too and we will have a costume parade at the pavilion at 11 o'clock.

It will be a day to remember your loved ones, a day to tell happy stories about them, a day to remember what made them special to you, and to eat and drink in their honor.

Celebrate life with us.

Coming up...
